Alexander Rossi’s Race Engineer, Jeremy Milless

Jeremy Milless claims to come from “the streets” of Lithopolis, Ohio.  What’s interesting about this claim is not just the fact that Milless actually lives quite the suburban lifestyle, but more importantly, it would seem as if Lithopolis is so small that it barely has a street, let alone “streets.”

Regardless, if you’ve worked with Milless, you’ll know that he is a fun guy to be around, and while he gives off a personality of a goofball, he’s deceivingly brilliant, which would make sense given the line of work he is in.

He has worked with the likes of Team Menard, Panther Racing, Penske Racing, Sarah Fisher Racing, Ed Carpenter Racing, and now, today, calls Andretti Autosport home.  His first win as a racing engineer came with Josef Newgarden back in 2015 at Barber Motorsports Park, which also happened to be Newgarden’s first victory.

Today, he is working with another American star, 2016 Indy 500 winner, Alexander Rossi.

We spent some time with Milless getting to know him during the pre-season, and Rossi offered his take on Milless to us during the St. Pete race weekend.  Check out the video above and let us know your thoughts!
